When faced with a challenge or complex problem, it's easy to lose momentum and abandon a goal. Many people have a strong desire, or need to downsize or move, but are overwhelmed by work involved. Our goal is to help move you past these challenges, and get to your next step. Whether moving to your dream home, transitioning to a community, or bringing order to your space, we are here to help you every step of the way. Based in Amherst, NH we proudly serve Southern NH and surrounding communities. We are members of the National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM.org), fully insured, and most importantly, committed to helping families in our community.
Dealing with his mother's declining health, I watched my husband handle every detail of her move to assisted living and the eventual sale of his childhood home. Juggling full-time jobs, business trips and 3 small children, it never occurred to us that there was an easier way. I eventually left the corporate world in search of a more purposeful path. As I learned more about the senior move management industry, I knew I had found it.
I am thrilled to be on this journey with Holly, and to be able to use my experience to help other families during pivotal moments. Prior to starting Onward Moves, LLC., I spent 25 years in Human Resources and Program Management, at companies including Fidelity Investments, Philips Electronics and Honeywell. I hold an undergraduate degree in Sociology from St. Anselm College, and a master's degree in Human Resources Development from Suffolk University.
What happens when friends get together over coffee to discuss a business idea and realize they share the exact same vision? That was the day Onward Moves was born. With a passion for project management and event planning, plus a love of organizing I have found my calling managing moves. Jen and I have a vision, moving strategies, solutions and experience that can compassionately address the special requirements of right-sizing any home.
I have been through numerous personal moves, home sales and several bereavement disbursements with my family. Most recently my mother and mother-in-law moved into continuing care retirement communities, and both moves presented a unique set of challenges. Prior to opening Onward I enjoyed a 10 year career in marketing and communications at Merrill Lynch. I hold a degree in Anthropology from Hartwick College.
